    The "La Cumparsita-"tango by Mattos Rodriquez probably is the most spread and wellknown tango around the world.

    In 1989 the composer was asked to write a modern-style - but not too modern! - arrangement for a dutch tango-ensemble (violin, cello, spanish guitar, bandoneon).

    The composer regards the arrangement as not too modern.
