    "The Czar and the Buddha" is a solo two part violin piece commisioned by the young successful violinist Lisa Jacobs.

    At 15/10/2008 in a dutch prime-time television show ("De wereld draait door") she called upon contemporary dutch composers to write pieces for her.

    As well the Czar as the Buddha were completed a week later.
