Piano Concerto No. 4 Symfony of World Leaders Le Petit Nicolas 2nd TrumpetConcerto "Le Petit Nicolas" "Le petit Nicolas" in 1983 originally was written for a small amateur symfony orchestra. In 1997 another amateur orchestra requested "Le petit Nicolas" in an arrangement including brass, which fitted the composer quite well as he originally intended the compostion with brass-section as well. "Le petit Nicolas" consist of two parts. Part 1 opens with the first main theme quickly leading to a small excerpt of an Stravinsky-like motive, which later in the part will come to it´s full glory. Part 2 starts with a dreamy adagio ending up in a recapulation of the first part´s theme leading to a coda resolving in the opening theme of the first part, thus closing the circle.
